Methods, purposes, and legal bases of data processing

  1. When browsing the website - - the software applications, designed to ensure the website functions, acquire specific transmitted data using secure protocols. Such information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, although it may enable users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties. This category of data includes, but is not limited to:
    1. Internet Protocol address (IP);
    2. Browser ID (user agent);
    3. Internet service provider name (ISP);
    4. Dot-decimal notation URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier);
    5. Access date and time;
    6. User entry and exit web page from the website (referral);

The processing of personal data is accomplished through IT tools that ensure adequate security and confidentiality of the data and, in any case, in compliance with the appropriate security measures as provided for in Article 32 of the GDPR through secure communication protocols with SSL encryption algorithms. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the legal provisions of the above-mentioned regulation and the confidentiality obligations therein. The provisions issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority “Linee guida in materia di attività promozionale e contrasto allo spam” [Guidelines on promotional activities and combating spam”] of 4 July 2013, the “Linee guida in materia di trattamento di dati personali per profilazione on line” [“Guidelines on the processing of personal data for online profiling”] of 19 March 2015, and the “Linee guida in materia di processi decisionali automatizzati e profilazione” [“Guidelines on automated decision-making processes and profiling”] - WP251, defined according to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, are considered good practices. The information above is collected by automated means and processed in an exclusively aggregated form to verify the correct operation of the website and for security reasons to prevent any attempts to damage the website, bring harm to other users or carry out harmful or criminal activities. Such data are not used for user profiling but only to protect the website and its users. The legal basis of the processing is the Data Controller legitimate interest, identified in Article 6 paragraph 1 (F).

Should the user choose to submit his or her CVs for possible employment through the website, the website collects and records some of the user’s identification details, including name, surname, email address, telephone number, and any other contact details. By submitting their CVs, applicants might also provide additional data on their health, information relating to other legal entities and/or natural persons, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, tradeXmembership or sexual orientation. These data are understood to be provided voluntarily and spontaneously by the user at the time of submitting the CVs. The legal basis for the processing is consent, pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (A).

Should the website receive a request for information on the services/products offered by De Rigo Refrigeration S.r.l, the website collects and records some of the user’s identification details, including name, surname, email address, telephone number, and any other contact details. The data collected will be used exclusively for the provision of the requested service and only for the time necessary for such a purpose. The legal basis for the processing is consent, pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (A).
