Buran is available in two different positive temperature versions, with two or three doors, as well as a low temperature model.

Our company recently took part in an important event aimed at bringing together high school students, during their final year, and the most important companies in the province of Belluno.
An event to make young people known the main industries of our territory and help them find their way in the workplace.
De Rigo Refrigeration could not miss this event. Graziella Bortot, HR manager, and the technical director Marco Miatton explained to the e students what our company deals with, and which professional skills are most in demand in the commercial refrigeration sector.
Through workshops, laboratories, and job interview simulations, the students were able to better understand what the industry sector of this beautiful area can offer them.
At DRR we believe that the comparison with the new generation is crucial, and we are also sure that listening and supporting them in the choice of a future professional path helps to create a winning combination between their aspirations and the real offer of the industrial market.
The Multicedi group, leader in large-scale distribution in Southern Italy, after choosing DRR for the DECO’ point of sale in Casamassima, near Bari, relies once again on us for the new Dodecà supermarket in Torre del Greco, near Naples.
A 1200 m2 sales point with a large exhibition space reserved for fresh products, which the customer chose to stock in the new generation of DRR cabinets: the serve over Patmos 2.1; the multi-deck vertical Euro Puket 2.0, the islands Newport Glass 2.0, Elba and Amethyst. Even the cold rooms are by De Rigo Refrigeration.
We are proud that Multicedi, which is part of the Végé Group – one of the largest networks in the panorama of Italian associated distribution, entrusted De Rigo for the whole refrigeration area of these supermarkets. The DRR Italy sales force meeting took place just a few days ago at our headquarters. It was an important moment of sharing dedicated to partners and agents who follow the business in the various regions of our peninsula. A meeting to share and discuss together the needs of the market, the results achieved, future objectives, the new European regulations on F-Gas, but above all to present all the new products released over the last few months and anticipate what we will launch shortly.
And it is precisely to focus on the products that for this 2024 edition we have decided to organize the event in our company’s showroom, our collaborators have thas been able to see up close and touch all the new solutions developed by our R&D for the Italian market.
De Rigo Refrigeration CEO Paolo Zenatto also stressed that the decision to organize this meeting directly in the beating heart of the company was also made for highlighting to our external collaborators the key infrastructure improvements and modernisation carried out in the production area of the plant.
We thank all the participants for sharing this important event with us, and a special applause goes to the whole Italian sales team, led by Fausto Domenghini, for the great work they are doing.
A multi-deck vertical cabinets line characterized by low consumptions and high energy efficiency, specially designed to simplify multiplexing operations as much as possible. The display area is very large, with a load capacity that can reach +60% compared to models with equivalent footprint. This not only saves time in loading but also allows customers to reach a wider choice of products. Mistral aesthetics is characterized by elegance and essentiality, specially designed to offer maximum products visibility and to best adapt to any display need. Into some models it is possible to have a transparent back for a panoramic view of the goods on display. Mistral has a very low front height which is the same for any models of the range, both at positive and negative temperatures, thus allowing exceptional aesthetic uniformity within the point of sale.

Two new Cash and Carry supermarkets of the COMERCO brand were inaugurated in recent weeks in Andalusia with De Rigo Refrigeration cabinets. The first store is in MOTRIL, near Granada, and the second one is in Conil De La Frontera, a lively tourist resort along the Costa de la Luz.
The wide range of fresh and frozen products, together with the more specific butcher’s and fruit areas, are displayed and stored inside vertical cabinets of the E. PUKET 2.0 range for positive temperature products, TIMOR 2.0 for frozen foods, while for the serve over counters area the customer choosed the MILOS 2.0 line.

DRR has just been awarded with a high Legality Rating by the Italian Antitrust Competition Authority.

The Lily supermarket recently opened in the city of Labranza in Chile has been set up in preview with the new Mistral vertical cabinets line. A totally new range of products that in a few days will be launched on the market, which you can see here in an exclusive preview for South America.
A 2.000 square meter supermarket where we have also installed Patmos 2.1 serve-over counters and islands from the Newport Glass and Elba ranges. But above all the brand-new Mistral range, both positive and negative temperatures models, with exclusive technical and design innovations.

We are mentioned in the latest issue of ISL magazine, a monthly magazine for legal updates and technical guidance on occupational health and safety.
“HR, production, and OHS Management Systems: the experiences of companies” is the title of the interesting article, signed by Flavio Battiston, part of a collection of company experiences that the magazine is dedicating to the topic of Safety, internal climate, and production for the effectiveness and efficiency of organisations. A multi-voice reflection on the relationship between the promotion of human resources, production, and the protection of occupational health and safety.
Graziella Bortot, HR manager, and Loris Guolla, Health and Safety Officer – Management System Manager, spoke on behalf of De Rigo Refrigeration about the extensive organisational and management changes made by our company in recent years, with major investments in safety, training, and skills implementation. A more unified vision of the corporate system has been introduced, which has led the various corporate departments to interact, empowering in particular the sharing of choices on the protection of health and safety and the management of human resources.
In fact, one of DRR’s main objectives is to steer the issue of workers’ health and safety towards a concept of “corporate welfare”, and to do so through a management organisation “model” of our own that can be self-sustaining with the resources of the future.

The magazine Die Kalte und Klimatecnick interviewed Alessandro Zanella, Sales Director Europe, and Cristian Corrocher, Sales Manager Germany, to talk about our presence in the DACH area.
An interesting opportunity to illustrate our proposals for the German market, namely: high energy saving solutions; CO2 systems; customization to the specific German customer needs, and the fundamental and central importance of an efficient after-sales support service. Zanella and Corrocher then underlined how our production is still 100% in Italy, as well as the entire R&D organization and Service coordination, and how this is particularly appreciated by the market.

Last Friday, we met in the beating heart of our company, the production department, to exchange Merry Christmas greetings and make a toast together to this year that is drawing to a close. Paolo Zenatto, DRR Managing Director, recalled how what is coming to an end was a year of significant investments for De Rigo Refrigeration, a year full of challenges and milestones, achieved thanks to fantastic teamwork.
It was an opportunity to greet, celebrate and applaud colleagues who have retired during 2023; people who have dedicated from 2 to as many as 45 years of work to this company!
And then we listened to the beautiful words spoken by our President, Cavalier Ennio De Rigo, who never ceases to amaze and move us.
And so each of us went home with their own special the memory of the evening, and a tasty gift pack in our hands, to share with our loved ones during these festive days.

De Rigo Refrigeration is now an official member of Eurovent, the Europe’s Industry Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies.
Eurovent, with more then 1.000 member companies from throughout Europe, is one of the the largest cross-regional industry committees for our business.
Over the years, the Brussels-based organisation has become a well-respected and known stakeholder that builds bridges between the manufacturers it represents and associations, legislators, and standardisation bodies on a national, regional and international level. While Eurovent strongly supports energy-efficient and sustainable technologies, it advocates a holistic approach that also integrates health, life and work quality as well as safety aspects. Eurovent holds in-depth relations with partner associations around the globe with values and goals that perfectly match those of De Rigo Refrigeration.
One of the recent collaborations that we are most proud has been with Banco Fresco, the all-Italian retail chain of Prosol group; one of the most important players in the large-scale retail sector in France, which has been expanding rapidly in Italy in recent years with a completely independent chain.
The formula is clear and successful, and focuses in particular on fresh and very fresh products: fruit and vegetables, fish, meats, charcuterie, cheese. This strategy requires the utmost attention to product preservation and therefore makes us particularly proud to have fitted out the entire cold section of the most recently opened shops.
The four supermarkets opened in the provinces of Milan, Monza-Brianza and Bergamo between 2022 and 2023 are all in fact equipped with De Rigo Refrigeration counters, and we are very grateful to the management of Banco Fresco for choosing us.
This collaboration also takes us into French territory, where many of the Grand Frais and Fresh brand shops have also chosen DRR cabinets.
We’d like to end this round of interviews recorded at Euroshop to the export area mangers with our colleague Magdalena Hunkiewicz, who tells us about our presence in Eastern Europe.
In this area we are expanding both through a specific distribution organization and through direct contact with large-scale retail.
We are also implementing a network of contacts that will soon enable us to also manage turnkey projects.
The De Rigo Refrigeration product range already includes highly appealing solutions for the needs of this specific geographic area, but the new products previewed at Euroshop will meet the requirements demanded by our customers in the Eastern European market in an even clearer way.

The first sales of De Rigo Refrigeration in Middle East and Northern Africa goes back to 50 years ago. In all these years we have built a stable presence in the area and today we can count on a network of distributors and on-site technical assistance companies that allow us to offer turnkey projects, as well as a high-quality maintenance and aftersales Service.
We are also proud to say that last year we started installing turn-key projects in CO2 also in these regions, that are known to have climates with very high temperatures. Those installations were possible thanks to the good cooperation with our local partners; and the success of these projects was confirmed directly by the customers who gave us another slot of projects in CO2 for 2023.
During Euroshop we had the pleasure to meet many customers from Middle East, if you could not came to the show, we’ll be only too glad to visit you or welcome you in our head office.

Important projects were realised in 2022 both with long-standing customers, who renewed their trust in our company, and with new customers who chose us for the first time.
We are particularly proud of the large number of CO2 installations carried out in South America in the last three years; truly exciting projects that we have realised thanks to the trust that customers have placed in us and in new technologies geared towards ever greater energy savings and lower environmental impact.
But such complex and challenging projects would not be possible in this geographical area without the support of a highly professional on-site team focused on constant professional training.
And to provide our customers with an increasingly efficient and timely service, De Rigo Refrigeration has further expanded its technical-sales staff in LATAM, under the careful supervision of Federico Villalba and Christian Dean.

On 10 January, Israeli supermarket chain Mahsaney Hashuk opened its first CO2 supermarket near Jerusalem. We managed the entire refrigeration area, from the refrigerated cabinets to the CO2 refrigeration system, through our local partner G.L. 770 Technologies Ltd.
The advice of De Rigo refrigeration and G.L. 770 was crucial in guiding the customer's choice towards a 100% environmentally friendly refrigerant such as CO2. The environmental characteristics led us to choose products with the highest safety and efficiency, and the collaboration of our partner Advansor was crucial in choosing a system suitable for working in temperatures that can exceed 40° in summer.
This project paved the way for a long series of CO2 installations in Israel that De Rigo Refrigeration and G.L.770 Technologies will complete between 2023 and 2024. Follow us!

Our collaboration with CONAD Adriatico continues.
Here are a few shots of the supermarkets opened a few weeks ago in Pedaso, in the Marche region, and in Cerignola, Puglia, respectively.
Two important renovations, under the banner of innovation and sustainability, where De Rigo Refrigeration took care of the entire refrigeration aspect by installing wall-mounted counters of the Angel line, for the positive temperature areas, and Timor 2.0 for the display of frozen products.
For the deli, fresh produce and meat area, Conad chose our Patmos 2.0 line of traditional counters, completing both supermarkets with Newport Glass and promotional islands from the Amethyst and Elba lines.

South America is an ever-expanding market for us. Today we want to talk to you in particular about Ecuador, where between September and October we completed 3 important projects in the area of the capital Quito. Supermarkets made for our customer Mega Santamaría, one of the most important chains in the country, with a very ambitious growth project for next year.
The first is the Santa Rita store, a turnkey projectmade for us by our partner Ofrinsur. A format with Walk-In Cooler refrigerated counters, both medium and low temperature.
Two weeks later, the Occidental supermarket opened, with the major challenge for DRR to manage the entire refrigerated area. Over 1,500 m2 of exhibition area with traditional counters from our Patmos line, Sumatra low temperature islands, medium and low temperature verticals from the Euro Puket 2.0 and Timor 2.0 range. The project was also completed with De Rigo cold rooms and refrigeration unit with our remote supervision service.
Finally, the Guamanì store was inaugurated, also with a format of Walk-In Cooler counters.
A great team effort was put on track in Ecuador this year, and we are grateful for the trust and loyalty that Mega Santamaría continues to place in De Rigo Refrigeration. New challenges are already on track for 2023, stay tuned!

In the global scene of an economy strongly affected by the rise in energy costs, even in the agri-food chain, the R&D department of De Rigo Refrigeration has focused on the development of increasingly performing products, with low energy consumption and reduced environmental impact. Here are some shots of the latest generation DRR cabinets in some supermarkets between France and Belgium in recent months. Alongside the vertical cabinets with double glazed doors, which have become a must for most European retailers, there is the use of doors also on our Semi-Vertical Euro Barbados 2.0 range, and the implementation of doors and frames without resistance on our low temperature range of vertical cabinets, Timor 2.0. Particularly popular both in France and Belgium are our solutions for connection to R454C and R455A (A2L) gas refrigeration units, both in positive and negative temperature cabinets. De Rigo Refrigeration strongly believes in the research and development of solutions that are increasingly oriented towards energy saving and respect for the environment; and we are pleased that our customers in France and Belgium have chosen them for their supermarkets.
De Rigo Refrigeration supplied equipment for the cold section of one of Saudi Arabia’s most elegant hypermarkets to date.
A 3,800-square-metre retail outlet in Namerah, a town in the Makkah province, 450 kilometres from Jeddah.
We are talking about Nahda 10, which was built by the Nahda Modern Company in collaboration with our long-standing partner Alshaya Enterprises.
The result of this prestigious collaboration was a concept store aimed at meeting the requirements and lifestyle needs of both residents and visitors. Modernity and tradition go hand in hand and thus give customers the opportunity to experience typical Saudi Arabian hospitality. Meticulous attention was paid to furnishings: our refrigeration counters complement the lighting and colours of these well-organised spaces, which have always been the distinctive feature of the Nahda retail outlets.

It was exactly one year ago that we launched an intensive promotional campaign in Poland to strengthen our presence in this country by building up a solid network of distributors, installers, and partners.
We have had the opportunity to open new shops and supermarkets in southern Poland in collaboration with our new distributor Klimors Sp. A concept which focuses on the specificities of the territory and of the people who live there. This is the challenge won in the project that ended a few weeks ago for the DESPAR-branded supermarket owned by C.a.S.P. Valle del Brasimone, Aspiag affiliate, in the splendid setting of the Bolognese Apennines. A project that De Rigo Refrigeration delivered turnkey for the entire cold part, with cabinets, cold rooms, CO2 refrigeration system and 24/7 telemonitoring service. Maurizio Albertazzi, director of the cooperative, says: "we chose De Rigo Refrigeration after a careful Xion of various possible suppliers. New DRR installation for the costumer Intermarché in Lessines, Belgium, which strengthens our partnership with Groupement Les Mousquetaires – Belgique.
Complex project carried out in several phases, fully managed by De Rigo Refrigeration, including transport and installation, thanks to the supervision of our local team of De Rigo Cooling Equipment.
CO2 remote and plug-in R290 cabinets have been installed, both in positive and negative temperature, in line with the customer’ s request of low consumption equipment and more in general according to our strategy to focus on solutions with high energy saving and reduced environmental impact.
The presence of De Rigo Refrigeration in Greece grows thanks also to a new important partnership signed with KMX Erga, a recognized company in the local commercial refrigeration market.
De Rigo has been selling its products in Greece for over 30 years and has an established collaboration both with the large international supermarket chains and with the local ones.
From today the contact with our Greek customers is more direct thanks also to the partnership signed with KMX Erg which acts for us both as a distributor and as an agent, according to the specific needs of the customers. The KMX team has strong technical experience in the commercial refrigeration sector and knowledge of De Rigo Refrigeration cabinets. He is also able to provide a pre- and post-sales installation and assistance service throughout the Hellenic territory, also with remote monitoring and a spare parts stock for end users. We are glad to introduce you the first supermarket with a complete water loop system we built in Peru. It is a turnkey store opened in the Ventanilla district, a few kilometers from the capital Lima, for our client TOTTUS. The project was followed by De Rigo Refrigeracion Latam SAC in collaboration with our partner Ofrinsur.
In addition to the Euro Puket 2.0 and Euro Barbados 2.0 line of vertica cabinets, we have installed a line of walk in coolers, both at medium and low temperatures, with doors from our Timor 2.0 line.

De Rigo Refrigeration fruit and vegetable cabinets, which are increasingly more efficient in terms of energy, are now also more performing with regard to product preservation as a result of a KtV (Kill the Virus) photocatalytic filter that maintains and even improves the quality of fruit and vegetables; it delays their ripening, with additional energy savings as a result of higher preservation temperatures.
This is the result of the partnership signed by De Rigo Refrigeration with Nanohub, a company specialised in the development of solutions based on nanomaterials for energy efficiency, quality of the environment, wellbeing of people and preservation of goods. In this regard, Nanohub has patented a photocatalytic technology for the control and elimination of ethylene, which is responsible for the ripening of fruit and vegetables, with truly amazing results.
After a period of rigorous tests carried out in its laboratories, De Rigo Refrigeration’s R&D team installed this filter on the cabinets in a Xion of supermarkets, both new openings and retrofit activities, with interesting test results already after the first weeks of being used.
In fact, the data collected highlight:
– Fruit lasting longer and with more vitamins as a result of reduced free radicals and, consequently, less oxidation of vitamins
– Up to 30% less waste and reduction of emissions for preservation
– Reduction of physiopathologies, such as apical rot, splitting and ripening defects or uneven ripening
Is it possible to slow down the ripening of fruit & vegetables without using refrigerators or artificial preservatives?
The answer is yes, thanks to a photocatalytic filter installed directly on the refrigeration cabinet, which maintains, and even improves, the quality of the fruit and vegetables, delays ripening and prevents cross-contamination with the following benefits:
– Requires low maintenance
– Fruit and vegetables can be preserved at higher temperatures with consequent energy saving
– Does not use chemical products and is therefore compatible with “BIO” productions
– Zero UV ray emissions and no decomposition waste, with minimum emission of carbon dioxide and water vapour

Today we would like to present you an interesting retrofit project that we recently completed in Italy for COOP Alleanza 3.0 near Bologna. A turnkey project from the cabinets to the CO2 rack system with remote management entrusted to De Rigo Refrigeration after sales Service. All the cabinets were replaced: both in the butchery and gastronomy departments and in the self service area, positive and negative temperatures, with an accurate customization project based on the specific needs of the supermarket.

An important study conducted by the CEA (Commissariat pour l’Energie Atomique) has been published with the aim of evaluating the impact of the Biovitae® lamp on the survival of the infectious SARS – CoV2 virus on plastic surfaces. The study was conducted by CEA in its BSL3 laboratory under a biosafety cabinet, comparing the effect of a “control” lighting (fluorescent tubes originally mounted on a biological safety cabinet) with the effect of the Biovitae® lamp placed on 53 cm from the viral samples.
This study shows that light irradiation of dried SARS‐CoV2 on a plastic surface (polystyrene) with the Biovitae® lamp accelerates the loss of infectivity compared to the same viral preparation placed under control conditions.
Biovitae has also asked for the cancellation from the register of medical devices in Italy to enter the much broader “Blue-light germicidal bulb / lamp” category of GMDN (Global Medical Device Nomenclature) to register Biovitae as a medical device in all countries not regulated by European legislation. The GMDN, also recommended by the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF), is currently used by over 70 national medical device regulators.

The objective of Energy Labelling is to give clear, easy-to-understand label information on the product energy efficiency, and classify products according to their level of efficiency (from G to A), with an overall effect of pulling the market towards more energy efficient products.
The Ecodesign Regulation applies to all commercial refrigeration equipment used for displaying and retailing fresh and frozen food products. The regulation establishes energy efficiency requirements for all products introduced after the 1st March 2021. Classification is based on the values given in the Energy Efficiency Index. Refrigerated cabinets exceeding a certain EEI value will not be permitted on the market.
The Ecodesign (2019/2024) and Energy Labelling 2019/2018 Regulations governing refrigeration equipment for direct sales were published in the Official Journal of the EuropeanXon the 5th December 2019 and come into force on the 1st March 2021.
Products marketed prior to March 2021 are not affected.

On February 25 Conad has inaugurated in the city of Ancona the largest hypermarket in the Marche region. Six thousand square meters of exhibition space for a renewed concept, as well as renewed is the choice of De Rigo Refrigeration cabinet for the cold part. The area dedicated to food products is large, elegant and very well cared for: a butcher’s area with a vast assortment of meats from Italy and the world; a fishmonger of excellence, as well as the ham and cheese departments. The range of fresh products is completed by the gastronomy area with a hot counter and rotisserie, the bakery and pastry shop with high quality internal production; the dairy department and the frozen department. De Rigo Group teams up against the pandemic and faces market fluctuations by launching an agile organisational model to support the business and its workers.
Never as in this case can it be said that being part of a large Group makes a difference in terms of business and opportunities for workers. Faced with the market trends resulting from the pandemic, two entities of the De Rigo Group, which usually work independently, have realized that strength lies in unity. Through careful work performed jointly by the Human Resource Departments of the two companies, a virtuous circle was promptly created, on which a new organisational model is based to protect the business and workers.
De Rigo Refrigeration, a company of the De Rigo Group and a major player in the refrigeration industry, was not only scarcely affected by the adverse effects of the pandemic but, on the contrary, has recorded growing orders with tight delivery times.
Conversely, De Rigo Vision, despite having implemented major actions to contrast the inevitable downturn in the market caused by the COVID-19 emergency, has experienced a slowdown in its business.
Hence, on the one hand, an extraordinary opportunity for De Rigo Refrigeration to expand its business with a portfolio of orders that required a boost in production that was difficult to immediately meet. On the other hand, the immediate availability of De Rigo Vision’s expertise which enthusiastically lent itself to supporting colleagues in the refrigeration industry to make this opportunity a tangible reality.
As Ennio De Rigo, President of the Group, explained: “The increase in business is due to the recovery of foreign markets that had “frozen” investments during the pandemic period and to an ongoing growth in the domestic market. Colleagues in the eyewear sector could thus resume their work 100% while enjoying a new, important job experience. An outstanding example of job rotation, teaming up and being part of a great Group”.

De Rigo Refrigeration’s “turnkey” refrigeration project for the visually appealing Despar supermarket at the Cortina Cooperative shopping centre has recently been completed.
It was a team effort that was well coordinated by the technical team of Aspiag Service for Despar; the design of our cabinets was enhanced with quality materials linked to Alpine tradition, such as larch wood, with pictures of the world’s most beautiful mountains in the background. A premium supermarket where food shopping is like going on a journey to discover the wonders of Cortina and the Dolomites.
A strong focus was placed on aesthetics and on customer and employee health by choosing lamps with Biovitae sanitisation technology, a De Rigo exclusive for the commercial refrigeration sector, which significantly reduces bacterial proliferation and protects against the risk of infections of microbiological origin, including Covid-19.
And a transcritical CO2 power plant, with liquid ejector, a system that ensures minimum overheating and high energy efficiency. The De Rigo Refrigeration Service provides telemonitoring 24/7, 365 days a year.

A total renovation of the store entrusted to De Rigo Refrigeration for the entire cold part, with the installation of a CO2 rack system, one of the first in Ecuador. A booster refrigeration system with a power of 97 Kw in medium temperature and 23 Kw in low temperature, completed by gas cooler and inter cooler.
This is the remodelling of an historic Santamaria store, opened in 1979. This is the location where an entrepreneurial history spanning 40 years began, and which now has 37 supermarkets throughout Ecuador.
Despite the difficulties of the historical moment that South America is experiencing, Santamaria has invested and renovated this supermarket, once again choosing De Rigo Refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, refrigeration system and telemonitoring service.

Exclusively for commercial refrigeration, DRR offers the Biovitae patent, which prevents infection using light, including Covid-19.
By combining light frequencies, BIOVITAE® technology reduces bacterial proliferation, sanitising environments and protecting people against infection, including Covid-19.
For its cabinets, De Rigo Refrigeration exclusively installs lighting with BIOVITAE® patented technology by Nextsense, which continuously provides a sanitising action by combining electromagnetic wavelengths of the visible spectrum of light. In particular, as reported also on MedRxiv, a website providing medical information, it has proved capable of photoinactivating COVID-19 and other microorganisms.
When exposed to light with this specific wave spectrum, the oxygen-dependent microorganisms are subjected to photoexcitation, causing oxidative damage and, as a result, killing the microbial or viral cell.
The first tests showed that the use of Biovitae LED lights significantly reduces the bacterial load. As stated in the note issued by the Italian Ministry of Defence on 23 June 2020, the military polyclinic “Policlinico Militare del Celio” is conducting more in-depth research involving other European laboratories and, specifically, military laboratories in Germany and Sweden.
BIOVITAE® is a microbicidal (non-UV) LED light developed by Desmoled for commercial refrigeration applications, commissioned by Biovitae, which is mounted exclusively on De Rigo Refrigeration cabinets.
While awaiting further confirmation from ongoing tests, BIOVITAE® technology has already been registered with the Italian Ministry of Health as a Class 1 Medical Device and does not harm living beings or cause damage to materials.

We are pleased to present you today with an absolutely innovative project which we contributed to by supplying our cabinets.
It is the organic supermarket in Dottenfelder Hof, located north of Frankfurt, between Bad Vilbel and Dortelweil. This supermarket, futuristic even from a design standpoint, represents the last step of a project entailing management of a 190-hectare agricultural area according to strict rules linked to absolute respect for nature, society and local culture.
This model is very widespread and successful in Germany, where they give the utmost attention to the quality of raw materials, the product and naturally food storage in an eco-friendly “green” perspective, also thanks to the use of a CO2 rack system. We are extremely grateful to Dottenfelder Hof for having chosen DRR and our local partner RS Kälte Klima GmbH for the entire cold part; another important step in our growth on the German territory.

Refrigeration engineers and installers from all over Italy had the opportunity to see first-hand Advansor refrigeration systems, the widest CO2 range on the market. They also attended an in-depth technical presentation, full of case studies carried out in many different climatic conditions:: from the coldest countries up to Spain and Portugal, where temperatures go over 40 degrees. Paolo Zenatto and Kristian Breitenbauch, CEO of the two companies, underlined the effective collaboration established, which combines Advansor leadership in CO2 with DRR experience and reliability in the commercial refrigeration market.

De Rigo Refrigeration has been selected by the Veneto Region for a pilot project linked to the reopening safely of the production activity, in order to check their applicability on a large scale.
The project, which involved a sample of companies, included the supply of about 300 serological tests for the detection of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies (IgM / IgG) to be carried out on all employees who have decided to participate voluntarily in the programme.
No De Rigo Refrigeration employees tested positive and therefore it was not necessary to resort to any further analysis. Another important step to return to normal production, but always with an eye on workers' health.
Innovation, this is the key word for this supermarket in Syracuse where CONAD has once again chosen De Rigo Refrigeration for the whole cold area. A project that has combined the essential design of the 2.0 range cabinets with the energy efficiency plus environment care of the CO2 transcritical rack system- EC fans gas cooler with adiabatic system – given the warm temperatures of Sicily – with intercooler . The De Rigo Refrigeration Service also manages telemonitoring and alarm 365/24h.
De Rigo Refrigeration is further strengthening its presence in Germany. Wasgau and RS Kaelte Klima GMBH has choosen our cabinets for the new supermarket opened in Mommenheim, in the Rhenald-Pfalz region. A store with over 70 linear meters of Angel multi-deck vertical cabinets , with Pan-Dur doors, plus Timor, Euro Barbados and Sumatra Islands; all models belonging to the innovative 2.0 range. The new Conad City was opened in Florence, Via Zanella, on June 18th. A point of sale where the refrigeration systems were all supplied turnkey by De Rigo Refrigeration, with refrigerated counters, cold rooms, a C02 transcritical rack system, and 24/7 telemonitoring service. The shop is located in a completely redeveloped building, featuring an original display of historic neighbourhood photos, and was created focusing in particular on the environmental impact and energy savings – issues that have been top priorities for both Conad and De Rigo Refrigeration for quite some time now.

Successfully continues De Rigo Refrigeration collaboration with Ofrin Sur and the Uruguayan chain Ta-Ta. Here is the turnkey supermarket in the capital Montevideo. For Ta-Ta this is the first completely self-service store; from choosing of products to the payment through ATMs.

For its new supermarket in Rodenbach, the German chain Wasgau relied on the expertise and design skills of the Italian company De Rigo Refrigeration. By working together with our RS Kälte-Klima refrigerator technician, we were able to open this energy-efficient point of sales, which has PAN-DUR doors, eco-friendly LED lighting and uses CO2 refrigerant. The result is a modern supermarket that perfectly combines Italian design and German simplicity and efficiency.
A new Kanguro supermarket with cabinets and cold rooms De Rigo Refrigeration was opened a few days ago in Agordo, one of the entrance-way to the splendid Dolomites – UNESCO World Heritage siteage. A sales point of over 1.800 square meters where the modern and essential design of our cabinets blend with the mountain context thanks to the beautiful wood paneling. The store enjoyed record levels of traffic in these first days of opening, with exceptional sales volumes. Carrefour has chosen the De Rigo Refrigeration cabinets once again for the new supermarket in Kortenberg, a few kilometres away from Brussels.
Energy savings, maximum visibility of the goods on display and the innovative aesthetics of the Euro Barbados 2.0, Angel and Timor 2.0 multi-deck for this supermarket of over 1500 sqm in the heart of Flanders.
A new Versluys hypermarket has been opened in Talcahuano, Chile’s main naval station and important commercial and manufacturing centre located in the Bay of Concepciòn. With this opening the Angel range makes its entry also into the Latin American market. A hundred multi-shelf vertical units of the De Rigo Refrigeration flagship line, 27 refrigerated cold rooms and three R507 refrigeration systems. An important project in collaboration with De Rigo Andina that consolidates our expansion in the South American continent.
